Each line selects a time range and a view. Lines play from top to bottom, in the order you write them.
0:00 to 0:10 : *Show 10 seconds of the normal grid. If you loaded a single video, * shows that video instead.
0:10 to 0:15 : frontContinue with only the front camera for 5 seconds.
0:05 to 0:08 : right_pillarJump back and replay 3 seconds from the right pillar camera. Overlapping ranges repeat footage; gaps between ranges are left out.
This example makes an 18-second export. Adapt the times to fit your loaded timeline; the grey example is a guide, not an active script.
Writing times. Use m:ss or h:mm:ss, optionally with milliseconds, such as 0:12.500. Times are relative to the start of the loaded timeline, not the clock or date. The end time is excluded. Blank lines are ignored.
Insert current time adds the current playback position at your cursor, replacing any selected text.
Choose a view. Use *, front, back, left_pillar, right_pillar, left_repeater, or right_repeater. Missing camera footage appears black; the enabled HUD still shows date and time.
Video size. Full fits the largest width and height of the views used in your script. Smaller views fit without stretching, with borders when needed. HUD size stays consistent across cuts.
Telemetry CSV follows the same order, including repeats. Named views use that camera’s telemetry; * uses the normal metadata source. Frames without telemetry are skipped. If none is available, the CSV contains only its column headings.
Enter a target bitrate in Mbps as a number (example: 12).
This load is paused while you authorize Tesla to unwrap the required file keys. The bearer token never leaves dashcam.tesla.com. The helper generates a decryption key bundle on Tesla's page and encrypts it specifically for this waiting load, so the clipboard never contains plaintext file keys. Imported file keys remain only in this tab's memory.

Load a Tesla Dashcam or Sentry Mode folder and view every camera on one synchronized timeline. The app composites the camera streams, overlays embedded vehicle metadata, blurs the rear camera license plate by default, and exports video or telemetry CSV files without uploading your clips.
Encrypted MP4 clips are detected automatically during the normal folder or file load. On desktop, the static page open at teslacam.cardboardbrick.com provides a helper to run on dashcam.tesla.com so Tesla can unwrap only the required file keys. Your Tesla bearer token stays on Tesla's site. The decryption key bundle copied back from Tesla is encrypted specifically for the current encrypted-clip load, so the clipboard never contains plaintext file keys. The private key needed to open the bundle never leaves this browser tab. After import, file keys remain only in this tab's memory while teslacam.cardboardbrick.com decrypts the selected video locally in your browser as it streams into preview and export. This feature uses Tesla's currently undocumented dashcam service and is not available on mobile devices.

It runs in the browser for broad device compatibility and installs as a PWA. After the app shell is cached, it can run completely offline. Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Safari, and compatible variants are supported; other browsers may have degraded performance or fail to work. On supported browsers, WebGPU and WebCodecs provide hardware-accelerated composition, decode, and adaptive AV1, H.265, VP9, or H.264 MP4 encoding on compatible systems.

This app runs locally in your browser. Video files stay on your device and are not uploaded to a server. We do not run our own analytics. However, our static host (Cloudflare) may log basic access information (such as IP address, user agent, and request time) as part of normal web hosting. Everything you load and process in the app stays on your device.
